The following measures were taken by the college to provide all round development of students and make them industry ready:
Career guidance sessions are arranged for the 2nd and 3rd year students to understand the higher education, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities after Engineering Course and enable them to set their goal and work for achieving the same.
Counseling sessions are conducted at individual and group levels on study skills, clearance of backlogs, stress management, time management, career guidance etc.
STUDENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES CONDUCTED BY COLLEGE
ANNUAL PROJECT COMPETITIONS
Project and Live Model Competitions are conducted regularly, to inculcate the spirit of competition and encourage the students to work on innovative projects.
ACTIVE PROFESSIONAL BODIES AND TECHNICAL CLUBS
To reinforce the technical knowledge of the students, college has purchased the courseware from National Project on Technology Enabled Learning (NPTEL) developed by IITs and IISc and given free access through intranet to all the faculty and students.
FACULTY MENTORSHIP OF STUDENTS
The Faculty Mentoring, a unique and innovative practice introduced by this College, has enabled all round development of students and made them industry ready.
Strengthened Interface and collaboration with Industry, with a view to provide experiential learning and expose the students to the emerging trends and contemporary technologies in the industry. Secured many MOUs with industry to offer research projects, summer internship, expert lectures, industry visits etc.
TECHNOLOGY INCUBATION CENTRE
Established a Technology Incubation Centre in the College in association with industry partners to encourage Faculty and Students to undertake creative and innovative projects.
I-SPARK CENTRE SUPPORTED BY M/s. MICROSOFT INDIA
Set up 'I-Spark Center' supported by M/s. Microsoft India Pvt. Limited to encourage students to generate creative ideas and work on innovative projects.
