Faculty Development Programs

  1. Faculty Development & Training Program on Spoken Tutorial Project-IIT Bombay
      A One Day Faculty Development & Training Program “Spoken Tutorial Project-IIT Bombay� was conducted in the college, on 09th December 2013,organized by the Department of Electrical &Electronics Engineering. The programme was inaugurated in the morning on 09th Dec 2013. VITAE Principal ,VITS Principal Sri M.Venkataramana,Honarable Guest Sri Mohammed Kasim Khan VITAE EEE HOD Sri M.Rajendar Reddy,VITS EEE HOD Sri T.Rama Subba Reddy , graced the function. . The participants were 100 teaching faculty members drawn from various engineering colleges and 150 Students . There were 2 sessions. In the  I session, Mr. Mohammed Kasim Khan – Co-coordinator for spoken tutorial project-iit Bombay (A.P &Tamilnadu), explained about teaching and learning a particular FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) like Linux, Scilab, LaTeX, PHP & MySQL, Java, C/C++, Libre Office etc. via an easy Video tool - Spoken Tutorialsand their usages for all faculties and students. The II session was handled by Dr. Urjita Deshpande –Clinical Psychiatrist,her presentation was on Students Guidence and counseling and for faculty’s .  Finally, the Faculty Development Programme came to a close, with the vote of thanks proposed by V.Kiran Babu Asst.Professor of EEE DEpartment.
  2. A One–Day Faculty Development Program On “Scilab� in Collaboration with spoken tutorial project-IIT Bombay
    A One day Faculty Development program was conducted on “Scilab� in Collaboration with spoken tutorial project - IIT Bombay on 19 April 2014. Sixteen Faculty members have participated from VITAE &VITS. The session was started by Mohamed Kasim Khan in skype. Later on the faculty have gone through the videos of Scilab and learnt the various capabilities of it. The session was concluded by feedback of some of faculty members.
